Ciao Rome Tour

A ride through the city that takes you to the must-see sites: the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and other piazzas, dramatic fountains including the majestic Trevi Fountain, Renaissance-era palaces. Also a trip through the city’s elegant shopping district.

The Rome City Bike Tour is the perfect fit for visitors who want to see Rome’s highlights in a single morning. You’ll travel through the centuries in a ride through Rome’s ancient neighborhoods. The leisurely and unique tour will take you past Renaissance palaces and Baroque churches. By the end, you’ll know Rome better than Julius Caesar.

Just a few of the sites that you’ll cross off your bucket list: Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Capitoline Hill, the Tiber Island and many more. The itinerary also takes you along secret alleyways, hidden piazzas and places that are off-the-beaten path yet important to this city’s rich history.

We provide you with new, state-of-the art bikes, unusual among Roman tour operators who often favor medieval models! You will be well-equipped and safe. Our young, enthusiastic guides will treat you well. Not only will they give you the scoop on the monuments and history but make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying the ride.

The tour is an easy ride and suitable even for those who aren’t accustomed to biking in unknown areas. You’ll cover about 16 kilometers (about 10 miles) at a leisurely pace of 4 hours. The only spot at which your legs will get a brief workout will be climbing the Capitoline Hill.

During the tour, visitors may have a chance to sample Italian caffè (coffee) or gelato.

"Really super!! I went with my kids (11 and 13). Bikes were set to height. Helmets and water included. Our guide was the Nice and friendly Lieke, a native dutch speaker. She took us through small streets and gave tips for restaurants as well. This tour I can recommend to all."
